EK-AEP Series overview
The A&D EK-AEP Series is a range of 3 intrinsically safe compact balances covering 300 g to 12 kg with readability from 0.01 g to 1 g, certified ATEX II 1G / IECEx Ex ia op is IIB T3 Ga and FM (US & Canada) for use down to Zone 0 where flammable gases or vapours are present. Battery powered for roughly 250 hours with no safety barrier needed, it features a backlit LCD, stainless-steel pan, and multiple weighing units in a compact, lightweight housing; weighing data leaves the hazardous area over an optical-fibre link (10/30/60 m) to the AD-1611 adapter in the safe area. The EK-AEP suits chemical, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical solvent-handling environments that require certified explosion-proof weighing. A&D Gulf supplies the series from stock in Jebel Ali (JAFZA), Dubai, with internationally traceable calibration certificates, UAE & GCC delivery, and factory-trained technical support.
