Where one instrument must serve several jobs on the same line, the FG platform scale offers three selectable weighing resolutions, switchable via a function setting.

All are available with an internationally traceable calibration certificate for your ISO 9001, GMP or HACCP records — we provide traceable calibration and do not claim ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
Do industrial scales need regular calibration in the UAE?
Yes. ISO 9001, GMP and HACCP quality systems all require that measuring equipment affecting product conformity is calibrated and traceable, at an interval the facility itself sets and justifies — none of them names a frequency. A&D Gulf calibrates on site or at our JAFZA base and issues certificates documenting traceability to recognised national measurement standards, with the reference standards used, the test points, the results and the expanded measurement uncertainty (k=2). We provide traceable calibration; we do not claim ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
What IP rating should I specify for a food production or chemical plant scale?
Match the rating to how the area is actually cleaned. For splash and wipe-down, IP65 is enough — the FZ-iWP/FX-iWP Series (IP65, 1 mg) and the HL-WP (IP65; the rating does not apply while the AC adapter is connected). Where equipment is soaked or submerged during cleaning, step up to IP67 (SJ-WP). For direct high-pressure, high-temperature hose-down in meat, fish and dairy, the SW Series is IP69K.
