BM Series overview
The A&D BM Series is a range of 8 micro and semi-micro analytical balances with capacities from 5.2 g to 520 g: the BM-5/5D/20/22 read to 0.001 mg (1 µg), the BM-252 to 0.01 mg and the BM-200/300/500 to 0.1 mg. Designed for the most demanding pharmaceutical, R&D, and analytical-chemistry weighing, the BM Series includes a built-in fanless static eliminator (ionizer) that neutralises electrostatic charge on samples and containers — a common source of error at microgram resolution — without disturbing the weighing chamber with airflow. A draft shield, internal calibration, and GLP/GMP/ISO-compliant data output make it suitable for regulated quality systems. The fanless ionizer and microbalance-grade resolution distinguish the BM Series from conventional analytical balances, making it the right choice for trace-level sample preparation, pharmacopoeial minimum-weight work, and any application where sub-milligram accuracy is critical.
