EM Series overview
The A&D EM Series is a range of 4 value platform scales from 30 kg to 150 kg, each with three selectable resolutions (for example 10 g, 5 g or 2 g on the EM-30KAM; 50 g, 20 g or 10 g on the EM-150KAL) so the scale can be set to the tolerance a job needs. A pole-mounted indicator rotates through 360° to be read from the side or back, the 26 mm backlit LCD shows remaining battery, and the rechargeable battery runs for around 200 hours with the backlight off and charges while the scale is in use. The hemmed SUS430 stainless steel pan has no sharp edge and lifts off for washing; counting mode handles up to 30,000 pieces; auto power-off after five minutes protects the battery. Options include a factory-fitted RS-232C interface (EM-03), a tilting indicator bracket, a desktop/wall stand, a dust cover and 3 m or 5 m load-cell extension cables. A&D has since moved this segment to its SE, SW and FG families; A&D Gulf continues to supply the EM Series from its own stock in Dubai as a straightforward, battery-powered platform scale for parcels, warehouses, markets and factory floors. A&D Gulf supplies the series from stock in Jebel Ali (JAFZA), Dubai, with calibration certificates on request, UAE & GCC delivery, and factory-trained technical support.
