AD-4971 Series (Metal Detection) overview
The A&D AD-4971 Series is a metal-detection system (5 models) for production lines, detecting ferrous contaminants to 0.3 mm, non-ferrous to 0.5 mm, and stainless steel to 0.8 mm, with capacities up to 500 g–5,000 g depending on model. Its EZI-Check setup and auto-learn product-effect compensation simplify configuration and reduce false rejects, while conveyor integration and automatic rejection support continuous quality assurance. HACCP compliant, the AD-4971 is built for food and manufacturing lines that must screen every package for metal contamination. At A&D it has been succeeded by the AD-4976 DETEX generation (IP66, multi-frequency); A&D Gulf supports installed AD-4971 systems. A&D Gulf supplies the series from stock in Jebel Ali (JAFZA), Dubai, with internationally traceable calibration certificates, UAE & GCC delivery, and factory-trained technical support.
